Another shooting death in Coatesville

Coatesville police and county detectives are investigating the daylight shooting death of a 22-year-old Coatesville man who was shot in the head in the 100 block of Penrose Alley.

Pierce Rivera was found laying in the street. Police responded to the area at 4:30 p.m., after reports of gunshot fire. Rivera was flown to the Reading hospital where he died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
